In addition, they are suitable for mounting on nozzles, connections and spikes where reduced radii of curvature are required. They are not recommended for automotive safety applications (eg air brake), nor for drinking water.
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) tubes are generally the best option for applications that require high flexibility and a small bend radius, where there is a need for folding/twisting solutions in a small space. They have properties that allow applications in low temperature regions and where high and continuous flexibility is essential. The polyurethane tube, featuring excellent flexibility, helps compact piping requiring small bending radius. Tubes come in a variety of colors so that pipings can be identified by color or can be completed in the same colors as the devices.
